German industrial production rose 0.7% month on month in March, after growing 1.7% the previous month (revised to February compared with 1.6% initial estimate).
According to the Ministry of Economy publishes these figures, the March increase was led by the construction sector, 6.2%, while the energy sector fell 1.2%.
The manufacturing output grew by 0.5%, with increases of 0.3% for intermediate goods and 0.8% or 0.9% for consumer goods and equipment.
